The Miksang Institute and Miksang Publications are very happy to announce the Second Edition of “Opening the Good Eye: The Mechanics of Seeing Sourcebook.” The contents of this Sourcebook span a thirty-three year period of teaching this foundational course by Miksang Institute co-founder, Michael Wood.
Drawn from early writings and courses taught by Michael throughout the 1990’s in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and then along with co-presenter Julie DuBose, throughout Canada, The United States, Europe, Italy and Japan, the essential content of these teachings has not changed substantially from the first course that Michael taught in 1983
What has occurred from these years of living and teaching Miksang has been an unfolding, a deepening of experience and expanded understanding that has been reflected in the evolution of the Miksang courses and writings. The process of bringing together all essential aspects of this foundational course into one document has brought a sense of depth and dimension to these timeless teachings.
