Certified Level One Miksang Instructors

In November of 2008, the first Miksang Teacher Training Workshop took place over six days in Boulder Colorado led by Miksang teachers Michael Wood and Julie DuBose.

For this first training workshop, three long term Miksang Students attended: Genice Wickum, Helen Vink and Nina Mudita.

With a small group of participants, the format of the workshop could be worked out and a template be formed for future teacher training programs. Each of the participants had expressed their desire to begin teaching Level One courses and had taken part in all the Core Miksang Programs (Levels 1 - 4, as well as the Essential Instructions on Looking and Seeing), in most cases they have taken these workshops more than once.

During this training each student demonstrated her depth of understanding of the principles of MIksang and the ability to express eye, mind, and heart fully through images and during individual presentations of each aspect of Level One.

Upon successful completion of this workshop, they are each now fully qualified to present 'Opening the Good Eye' Workshops as developed by Michael Wood and Julie DuBose.
